“Dr.” Faison Hoops with H & H

Anchors Jay Harris and Mike Hill were more than “scrubs” this week when they played some hoops with a real Scrub, Donald Faison, a star of the ABC prime-time series. After an interview with Hill on ESPN First Take and debating with Rob Parker, Dana Jacobson and Skip Bayless on 1st and 10, it was recess time for the star. Faison, who played in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, hooked up with Hill and 6 p.m. ET SportsCenter anchor Jay Harris to shoot hoops in studio G. The good doctor, known as “Turk,” surprised the “H Boyz” by hitting several shoots from long range…he started to dunk but had second thoughts when Hill feigned DEE-FENSE!
“Donald’s a great young talent, and a true lover of sports,” said Harris. “Watching him walk around campus was kind of like watching a kid in a candy store. He knows the shows and our names. He knows his sports. And we all know him. It was a mutual admiration society, and lots of fun to hang out with him.”
Hill said, “It’s always so refreshing to see people you watch and respect on TV or in film and they are so cool. Donald was one of those guys. It was a pleasure to meet him.”
